- Access on board computer to check for codes. In the ECU, retrieved code P1457 (evap system, leak in canister area). Inspected for leaks-none found. Performed full EVAP test multiple times–all valves and testable components functioning as designed. Customer approved replacing the canister vent valve as a first repair attempt.
- Disassemble as necessary to remove and replace charcoal canister vent valve.
