- Confirmed that the CHECK ENGINE light and other malfunction indicators are illuminated. Access on board computer to check for codes. In the ECU, retrieved codes P0302 (engine misfire, cylinder #2), P1578 (brake system), P1605 (rough idling), and P219D (cylinder 2 air-fuel ratio imbalance). Confirmed that cylinder #2 is actively misfiring. Further testing confirmed #2 spark plug has failed. Replaced #2 spark plug, cleared all fault codes, road tested vehicle. Suspect the other three codes were set in conjunction with the cylinder misfire code. All codes cleared.
