    • Confirmed customer's complaint. Initial testing revealed that the vehicle battery was discharged. Remove driver's seat to access and check condition of vehicle battery and checked for amount of parasitic draw. The battery was recently replaced (was installed at the local dealer in April 2022) and will be tested after the recharge. During the testing, it was observed that the radio activated without having been switched on while the vehicle was switched off and the parasitic draw was being tested. With the radio on, the parasitic draw is in excess of 6 amps which will discharge the battery. While this suggest that the radio has an internal issue, a capacitive discharge was performed and the radio has not been caught activating since. UPDATE 6/5/2023: The vehicle was able to be started with no issue after having rested for 3 days. At this time, the customer has been advised to drive the vehicle and report is any other issues are experienced

    • Confirmed customer's complaint. Accessed on board computers to check for codes. In the engine control unit found fault codes P 164D 00 [044] = Oil pressure switch for reduced oil pressure – malfunction, P 0300 00 [237] = Random multiple engine misfires, P 0302 00 [237] = Engine misfire cylinder # 2 and P 130A 00 [032] = Cylinder disabling feature activated. Continued inspection revealed that the spark plugs were severely oil fouled and causing the misfire. The plugs were replaced this visit and the customer has been advised that the engine is likely consuming oil which caused the fouling of the plugs. Constant monitoring of the engine oil level is strenuously suggested
    • NOTE: All of the connectors for the ignition coils are broken. Replacements are required to correct
    • Confirmed customer's complaint. Fault codes were found for an issues with the oil pressure switch (see explanation above) and the switch was found full of oil which causes an internal "equalization" in the switch. Replacement of the switch is suggested as the first repair attempt – NOTE: Customer requested that an oil dipstick be installed this visit
    • Remove and replace engine oil pressure sending unit

    • The symptom reported by the customer cannot be duplicated at this time. Access on board computer to check for codes. In the engine control unit found fault codes P 0300 – 000 = Random multiple engine misfires and P 0302 – 000 = Engine misfire cylinder # 2. This code was not recorded immediately after an ambient temperature start (which would suggest carbon buildup on the intake valves as the cause), but was recorded as the engine was coming up to operating temperature. As a precaution, the ignition coils were exchanged (swapped) between ignition coils # 2 and 3 – this will assist in the diagnosis should the engine exhibit the symptom again and the customer is asked to report if the warning light reilluminates
    • Confirmed customer's complaint. Fault code 00332 – 007 = Control circuit for tank flap – short to ground. This code and the symptom reported by the customer suggest that the actuator for the fuel door release has failed – replacement is required to correct
