    • Performance tested A/C system – pressures were found too low. Recovered and measured system refrigerant to determine present system charge level. Recovered .37 lbs (R 134) – system requires 1.21 lbs. Evacuated and recharged system with correct amount and with UV leak detection dye added. System pressures and vent temperatures are within specifications at this time.

    • Cannot confirm customers complaint at this time and the system pressure tested to have no leaks. Upon inspection it was found that the coolant overflow reservoir was significantly overfilled. This was corrected this visit. The customer is probably smelling the engine oil that is now leaking from the seal for the oil cooler
    • Customer requests a drain and refill of the engine coolant,
    • Disassemble as necessary to remove and replace engine oil cooler seal

    • Disassemble as necessary to remove and replace water pump
    • Initial inspection revealed that the engine cooling system was low on coolant. Pressure tested engine cooling system – the water pump was found to be leaking under pressure. Replacement of the pump is required as the first repair attempt

    • Confirmed customers complaint. The drivers side front wheel bearing is failing – replacement is required to correct and there is a vibration on acceleration consistent with wear in a front drive axle. Continued diagnosis confirmed that the inner C/V joint for the passenger side axle is worn – replacement of the axle is required to correct
    • Disassemble as necessary to remove and replace passenger side front drive axle
    • NOTE: The wheel speed sensor was rusted into place in the spindle and could not be removed without destroying the sensor. The dust shield of the new bearing was notched so as to install the bearing without having to destroy (and subsequently replace) the sensor
    • Remove engine oil cooler as necessary to replace seals
